“A melhor despedida de solteira” é uma comédia hilariante realizada por Paul Feig que foca em Annie Walker (Kristen Wiig), melhor amiga de infância de Lilian (Maya Rudolph) e dama-de-honor desta que vai ajudar na preparação do casamento. Este filme é comparado com a “Ressaca” numa versão feminina e, com uma receita e criticas inesperadamente boas, constou na lista dos nomeados para os Globos de Ouro deste ano.
Durante o filme é nos mostrado, com momentos mais picantes, a dificuldade com Annie lida com a vida pessoal após o fecho da sua pastelaria e a novidade do casamento de Lillian, mas conta com um grupo diversificado de amigas para a ajudar: Becca (Ellie Kemper), uma recém-casada muito entusiasmada, Rita (Wendi McLendon-Covey ), casada mas sexualmente frustrada; Megan (Melissa McCarthy), solteira mas pouco feminina e Helen (Rose Byrne ) a amiga incrivelmente perfeita que vai levar aos inúmeros ataques de ciúmes de Annie . Estas juntas contrõem uma ligação que se combinará para a organização do casamento de Lilian. No entanto, Helen acaba sempre por se intrometer nos planos de Annie, desde a escolha do vestido para as damas-de-honor até à decisão do tema da despedida de solteira, gerando um conflito entre as duas para agradarem a Lilian. Mas quando tudo parece ser um caso perdido, acaba por não o ser.
During the movie it is shown, with some spicier moments, the struggle with which Annie deals in with her personal life after the closing of her bakery and the recent news of Lillian’s marriage, but she can count on a diversified group of friends to help: Becca (Ellie Kemper), a very excited newly-wed girl friend, Rita (Wendi McLendon-Covey ) married, but sexually frustrated; Megan (Melissa McCarthy), single but not so feminine and Helen (Rose Byrne), the incredibly perfect friend of Lillian who will always interfere in Annie’s plans, since the choice of the dress to the decision of the theme of the bachelor party, creating a conflict between the two of them, so that they could individually please Lillian. However, when it all seems to be a lost case, turns out not to be.
Bridesmaids reflects that, though there is a collision in terms of tastes and personalities, it is possible the combinations of them for the brides’ well-being, never forgetting the animation. The cast made the difference about the success of this movie, although not so known by the audience. To enhance Melissa McCarthy’s performance that was, in my opinion, the one who shinned the most with a brilliantly funny acting, that made me feel in a good mood. I enjoyed watching this film because it’s a feminine comedy in which the characters make fun of themselves without making themselves look like fool.
